To continue with our commitment to improving the quality of care for our patients, IMED Hospitales held the First Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (COT) Conference. Doctors fromIMED Colón, Valencia, Levante , Elche and Virgen de la Fuensanta gathered last Friday, October 18, for a day of training and collaboration. The purpose of this event was to share experiences, address questions, and discuss best practices in this specialty.
The event took place at IMED Elche Hospital, where talks and presentations were held on key topics such as 'Elbow Pathology' presented by Dr. Irene Hernández Martínez, 'Wrist Arthroscopy' explained by Dr. Ana Verdejo, and 'Glenohumeral Instability' presented by Dr. Eduardo Sánchez Alepuz.
These types of sessions not only strengthen the continuous training of our professionals but also reinforce our commitment to providing excellent medical care to all the patients who trust IMED Hospitales.
In this regard, Montse Planelles, Corporate Director of Human Resources, emphasizes the importance of continuing to foster such meetings: "They are very important for both the IMED group and our professionals because it is a demand we saw they had to feel part of a team. In addition to that, it allows them to share their daily experiences, their knowledge, and the technical aspects that they might not be able to do in a daily context."
