After a little more than one year of operation, IMED Valencia has obtained the certificates ISO 9001, ‘Quality Management System’, and ISO 14001, ‘Environmental Management System’.
The audit´s results, which was performed by the certification company Aaplus+, is the achievement of these two certificates throughout all the departments which underwent the exam: admissions, hospitalization, laboratory, emergency unit, intensive care unit, neonatal intensive care unit, operating theater, external consultations, diagnostic imaging service, haematology, , hospital pharmacy, and blood bank.
Luis Villamuera, quality and environmental coordinator at IMED Hospitals, declared to feel “satisfied after the attainment of these new certificates for IMED Valencia, which proves the effort on the part of the organization, and specially, all the employees working following the quality parameters established”. Villamuera also wanted to highlight that “All our centers have both certificates”. This way, IMED Valencia joins IMED Elche and IMED Levante.
