Wednesday 27 November 2024 - This morning the inauguration ceremony of the IMED Virgen de la Fuensanta Hospital in Murcia took place, an event that marks a significant milestone for the hospital group, since it is the first IMED hospital outside the Valencian Community.
The event was attended by the Minister of Health of the Region of Murcia, Juan José Pedreño, who highlighted the importance of this new facility to improve the health services of the city.
Ángel Gómez, general director of IMED Hospitals, acted as host of the event and pointed out the intention that the new hospital will become a reference centre for the citizens of Murcia. He highlighted the expansion that the group is experiencing throughout the Mediterranean arc and highlighted the group's healthcare model, where the human factor and cutting-edge technology are at the service of the patient.
The event brought together around 120 attendees, including hospital staff, political representatives and insurance companies. The hospital, which opened its doors on 11 November, has been very well received in its first weeks of operation.
