About Pediatrics

At IMED Virgen de la Fuensanta, we’re dedicated to children’s health and for this reason we provide a comprehensive pediatric service. Our walk-in service is available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on holidays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with immediate access to diagnostic tests and specialist consultations. We also offer scheduled appointments for follow-up care from birth through adolescence, including regular check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment for both acute and chronic conditions. In addition, our pediatric department includes a wide range of specialties, such as gastroenterology, neurology, cardiology, pulmonology, allergology, and nephrology.

Walk-in pediatric care

At IMED Virgen de la Fuensanta, we provide walk-in pediatric care on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Our medical team is ready to respond immediately to any pediatric need, with access to diagnostic tests and the support of both general and pediatric specialties within the hospital.

This service is available to patients with health insurance.

Scheduled pediatric consultations

We offer general pediatric consultations for children from birth through adolescence. These visits include well-child check-ups, psychomotor developmental assessments, breastfeeding and nutrition support, and vaccination programs, among other services. We also provide diagnosis and follow-up for both acute and chronic childhood conditions.

Pediatric treatments must be tailored to each child’s age, medical history, and individual needs—making specialist input essential. That’s why our Pediatric Unit works closely with other departments at IMED Virgen de la Fuensanta to deliver coordinated, comprehensive, and personalized care.
